Hybrid EMT Academy
We understood your challenges and created something that works for everyone.
We developed a new hybrid EMS program allowing students to start with our online EMT courses at home. The Program is still structured similarly to a traditional course but in the hybrid model the course work is done in a blended environment, both online at home and then in-person as well.
How It Works

From self-paced online modules to hands-on Skill Academies, thorough psychomotor exam preparation, and official certification testing, each step is tailored to help you build confidence and competence as an emergency medical professional. Online Course Work
Our online EMT courses are structured similarly to a traditional course where work is done in a blended environment, both online and in-person.
This is a structured course that follows a course syllabus to keep everyone on the same track.
Hands-On Boot Camp
Experiential learning is key to your EMS education. As part of our program, you will attend prescheduled skills days at our facility in Burnet, TX. Students will have the opportunity to learn from experienced EMS personnel who will show them the tricks of the trade. These skills are spread throughout the course to ensure competency.
Clinical Rotations
You’ll participate in Clinical and Field rotations with Fire/EMS departments. During this phase of the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience and have an opportunity to put your skills into practice through real patient contact, while guided by experienced EMS and medical personnel.

Online Modules
Self-paced, 24/7 access
Our online modules provide flexible, self-paced learning available anytime, anywhere, allowing you to study at your convenience without disrupting your daily life. The coursework includes interactive lectures, quizzes, and multimedia content designed to build your cognitive knowledge thoroughly. Skills Academy
We Prepare You for Real World Readiness; scheduled hands-on labs with instructors.
The Skills Academy offers essential hands-on practice through scheduled lab sessions led by experienced EMS instructors. These in-person labs are designed to reinforce your online learning by teaching you practical techniques using real equipment. Participating in these sessions ensures you develop the critical manual skills necessary for emergency medical care.
Certification Testing
Upon completing your coursework and skills training, you will be ready to take the National Registry certification exams, including the cognitive knowledge test and the psychomotor skills evaluation. These official exams validate your proficiency and readiness to serve as a certified EMS professional, opening doors to employment and further opportunities in emergency medical services.
